Local Healthcare Staffing & Travel Nurse Positions

We are a one-stop-shop. At Total Medical Personnel Staffing, we offer both local and travel assignments at a variety of small and large medical facilities.We want you to know that your development as a person and professional is very important to us! We are here to help you gain new experiences with the different facilities we serve throughout the state and across the country. We have access to all 240 premier healthcare facilities throughout the state of Oklahoma, and we are here to partner with you and provide you with a quality experience; from the beginning of the onboarding process to support you in every facility you work.

At Total Medical, we hire allied professionals to complete these types of assignments:

  • Temporary and per diem work – This allows our employees to fill in for absences or vacations and manage variable care needs while there.
  • PRN Assignments – Work on an on-call, temporary basis, filling in for nurses on leave, or providing additional help when patient intake rises.
  • Permanent (full-time) Positions – A permanent position is a full-time position that is taken with a facility.
  • Temporary to Hire positions – Temp to hire positions are ones that are taken on a contract basis with the intention of going full-time/permanent in the future.
  • Local (Oklahoma) Assignments – Take any position throughout the great state of Oklahoma!
  • Travel Assignments – Travel positions outside the state of Oklahoma are coordinated through our sister company, Nationwide Nurses.

  • Medical Benefits & Health Insurance – Eligibility is the first month following 60 days of full-time employment with TMPSOK.

  • Vacation Pay – After being apart of the Total Medical team for 12 months, you qualify for vacation pay. Eligibility requirements are working one eight hour shift per month, and compliant with the attendance and tardy policy.

Hiring Experience is Key

To be eligible for nursing and allied assignments, healthcare professionals must have graduated from an accredited healthcare program, hold a valid license or certification, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. We require at least six months of recent experience in order to bring your career with us. We staff many different types of allied health professionals at Total Medical Personnel Staffing. Below, you will find our comprehensive list of positions that we most commonly hire.

  • Registered Nurses – A nurse who graduated from a college’s nursing program or a school of nursing and has passed a national licensing exam.
  • Licensed Practical Nurses – An assistant to physicians and RNs. A person who takes care of basic duties in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities.
  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) – Provides varying levels of care and support to patients of all ages in hospitals, inpatient mental health facilities, and clinics.
  • Certified Medication Aides – Assist nurses in providing care and medications, follow written and/or oral instructions to administer medications, monitor patients, and report changes in condition or vital signs.
  • Medical Assistants – work alongside physicians, mainly in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities, such as medical offices and clinics.
  • Phlebotomists – A healthcare worker that is trained in drawing venous blood for testing or donation.
  • Respiratory Therapists – This is a certified medical professional who specializes in providing healthcare for your lungs. These individuals have advanced knowledge of high-tech equipment, such as mechanical ventilators.
  • Mental Health Technicians (Psychiatric Technicians) – are key players of a mental health treatment team, working directly with patients who are coping with disabilities, illnesses, or addiction.
